Although my paintings are about the lives of trees, you are the first reviewer to pay much attention to that. Yes, my paintings aim to animate the lives of trees. I’m thrilled you could detect an energy and sense of vibrancy in them that suggests they are fully feeling, animate plant/creatures.
Your description of the two symbols of trees, the Tree of Life and the Sacred Tree, illuminated and expanded how my work can be seen in relation to symbol archetypes. I hadn’t thought so clearly about that previously and your observation gives me something new to chew on.
