Sketchbook #16: Jessica Weiss

If you grew up in the time of ubiquitous wallpaper, either at home or in the houses of stuffy and stern relatives, you were already a painter in your mind. You could “see” other images, get lost and edit: add, subtract and multiply. And fall asleep dreaming of flowers, faces, Chinese landscapes, pastoral scenes and strange geometries.

Jessica Weiss shows us how it’s done using sample books.

The sizes range from 9”x 9” to 7”x 6.5”.
